The Challenge
Our client runs a network of eSIM websites selling data plans in 180+ countries — the kind of business where uptime, checkout speed, and trust matter on every single page. Before working with us, all of that was in someone else's hands, and it was falling apart.
Their previous outsourced development team left them with:
Poor communication — requests went unanswered, timelines were unreliable
Bad, undocumented code — fragile, difficult to build on, riskier with every release
Bloated infrastructure costs — paying a premium for systems no one could optimize
And then — nothing. The vendor ghosted them entirely, taking clarity on parts of the codebase and infrastructure access with them.
For a business running multiple live storefronts processing real transactions, losing visibility into your own code and infrastructure isn't an inconvenience — it's an existential risk.
What We Built
We started with recovery, then moved into growth.
Rebuilt and reclaimed. We restored the affected codebases and regained full infrastructure access and control, giving the client ownership of their own platform again — no more dependency on a single outside vendor holding the keys.
Redesigned the full product line. Rather than just patching what existed, we redesigned the sites end-to-end — improving the core purchase flow (destination search, plan selection, instant QR delivery) across the network.
Scaled to a true multi-brand network. We've now built and maintain 5+ distinct eSIM storefronts for the client, spanning different provider partnerships across the UK and US markets, including co-branded sites built in partnership with major sports clubs.
Extended to mobile. Beyond web, we built a companion mobile app version of the storefront experience, giving customers the same instant activation flow natively on their phones.

Gave them operational control. Each storefront is backed by a custom admin dashboard / CRM, so the client's team can track sales, manage eSIM allocation, and monitor plan performance across every brand from one place — instead of depending on a developer to pull reports.
The Transformation
From locked out to fully in control. The client now owns their code and infrastructure outright, with no single point of failure resting on an external vendor.
From one fragile site to a resilient network. What was a single at-risk platform is now 5+ actively maintained storefronts plus a native app, all sharing a stable technical foundation.
From flying blind to full visibility. Custom admin tooling gives the client real-time insight into sales and inventory across every brand, without needing a developer in the loop for basic reporting.

The Takeaway
This wasn't a redesign engagement — it was a recovery. We rebuilt trust in the platform itself, then used that stable foundation to help the client scale from one struggling site into a full multi-brand eSIM network they fully own and control.
